Pastor Tina Bivins was ordained by Pastor Dr. Isaac Calle at Iglesia La Verdad in August 2016. Since 2006, she has been intimately involved with community advancement and enrichment programs, especially those serving the low-to-mid socioeconomic population and children in the foster care system. Pastor Tina volunteers with numerous community and non-profit organizations throughout the Tampa Bay Area. In 2009, she collaborated with executives at Raymond James Bank to facilitate the bank’s first financial literacy education program to underbanked populations in South St. Petersburg.

In 2010, she became the first Chairperson of the Riverview Boys & Girls Club and has since volunteered with the United Way Women’s Leadership Steering Committee. She served as an Advisory Board Member for Revealing Truth Ministries, and was a founding member of Women Empowering Future Leaders, which mentored high school female students at Steinbrenner and Hillsborough High Schools. Pastor Tina has also served at Metropolitan Ministries' Project H.E.L.P - Homeless Experience Legal Protection, A Kid’s Place fundraising committee, and with the George Edgecomb Bar Association Legal Redress Workshop and its Annual Scholarship Banquet. She also serves on the Bethany Christian Services’ Tampa Advisory Board.

Professionally, Pastor Tina serves as the Equity Manager/Title IX Coordinator at Hillsborough Community College, District Office. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida and earned her MBA, with a specialization in Management, from the University of Miami.

Currently, she is pursuing her Juris Doctorate from WMU Thomas M. Cooley Law School and in 2017, was recognized as a Certified Legal Intern with the Florida Board of Bar Examiners. While in law school, Pastor Tina has joined three professional legal organizations – George Edgecomb Bar Association, Hillsborough County Bar Association, and Black Legal Student Association - to further promote the contributions African Americans are making within the legal profession. She strives to exemplify excellence by maintaining a position on the Dean’s List and Honor Roll while in law school.

Although Pastor Tina enjoys her work in the community, her most rewarding accomplishment is being a devoted mother to her lovely children: H. Isaiah Bivins (17) and Symphony J. Bivins (16).
