Terry Kemple is President of Community Issues Council, a local Christian ministry whose mission is: “To promote Judeo-Christian values by educating and uniting the Church to be able to engage our community in the issues of the day.”
He's been involved in many family values issues here locally, perhaps the most familiar to you would be leading the PROTECT OUR CHILDREN effort that successfully pushed back against the attempt to force schools to allow boys in the girls' bathrooms and showers and girls in the boys' that was initiated by the Obama Administration in 2016. He continues to stand up against the radical sexual indoctrination that is taking place in public schools.
He also led the five-year initiative that put the Good Friday holiday back on the Hillsborough School District calendar, and the Hillsborough County component of the successful Marriage Amendment effort in 2008 that defined marriage in the Florida Constitution as being between one man and one woman.
His passion is kindled because he has 5 daughters, 13 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren, a number of whom are in public school.
